Haisan Drives Industry Innovation at the 2026 CAAPA Water Park Seminar

HANGZHOU, China— On May 21st, the 2026 Water Park "Quality and Efficiency Enhancement" Seminar, hosted by the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (CAAPA), was successfully held at the Hangzhou Tianmu Future Valley Water World. The conference focused on product and operational innovation, exploring new models for transitioning water parks toward multi-format, highly-themed, and smart operations. The event aimed to help the industry break away from traditional path dependencies, reshape product logic with innovative thinking, and cultivate new business formats. As a leading industry manufacturer, Haisan Amusement was invited to attend and share its expertise.

During the panel on "Water Park Equipment Innovation," Mr. Li Dongfang, Vice General Manager of Haisan Amusement, delivered a keynote sharing profound industry insights. He pointed out that the current water park industry is facing severe homogenization: similarities in equipment appearance, gameplay, and overall experience are leading to guest fatigue and low revisit rates. To combat this, Mr. Li suggested that future equipment innovation must focus on three strategic pillars:

1. Gameplay Innovation:Transitioning from simple, single-drop slides to combined, dynamic, and competitive attractions that offer immersive, interactive experiences.

2. Aesthetic and Thematic Innovation:Elevating equipment into visual landmarks. By integrating nighttime lighting systems and dynamic light-and-shadow effects, parks can significantly extend their operating hours and boost the nighttime economy.

3. Breaking Seasonal Limitations:Implementing comprehensive all-season operations through strategic land-and-water integration and seamless indoor-outdoor linkages.

Mr. Li emphasized that equipment innovation should always revolve around four core principles: "more engaging, more visually appealing, safer, and highly durable." This approach empowers park operators to break free from market saturation and significantly enhance both foot traffic and revenue.

A major highlight of the seminar came when the Lin'an Culture, Commerce, and Tourism Group officially announced:Hangzhou Tianmu Future Valley Water World will celebrate its Grand Opening on June 18th!

As part of the conference agenda, attending guests were given an exclusive site tour of the Tianmu Future Valley Water World, fully engineered and equipped by Haisan Amusement.

Spanning an impressive area of approximately 100,000 square meters, it stands as China’s first immersive resort water park complex integrating "Ecology, Future, and Technology." The mega-park showcases Haisan's engineering prowess, featuring:
